  ● 課程說明：
  近數十年來，研究不端行為在幾乎所有知識追求的領域中持續困擾學術界，且實際上有愈發嚴重的趨勢。因此，論文撤稿幾乎逐漸成為常態，而不再只是罕見事件。許多備受矚目的案例也廣泛見諸媒體，例如史丹佛大學校長因相關事件辭職，以及部分頂尖學術機構對涉事人員施以嚴厲處分。然而，許多學生與研究人員往往對研究不端行為的成因、手段、造成的損害，以及其可能帶來的嚴重後果仍缺乏充分認識，甚至在不自覺的情況下忽視相關問題。
  本演講將以敘事方式切入，透過故事與案例說明上述議題，期望協助學生、博士後研究員與主持人(PI)更清楚理解何謂研究不端行為，同時提供一些以負責任的方式進行研究的一般性原則與建議。

  ● Introduction
  Research misconduct has been plaguing and, in fact, getting worse over the last few decades in practically all domains of knowledge pursuit. As a result, paper retraction has almost become a norm rather than an anomaly. High-profile cases are widely reported, for example, the resignation of Stanford University president and severe punishments for some elite institutions. Yet students and research professionals are often, knowingly or unknowingly, unaware of the causes, means, damages, and grave consequences of research misconduct. This talk seeks to address these issues via a storytelling approach, hoping to assist students, postdocs, and PIs to firmly grasp what exactly research misconduct is and, at the same time, to provide some general guidelines for doing research in a responsible manner.
