  From Macau-style Portuguese egg tarts to Filipino spaghetti, “fusion cuisine”--a popular term for foods that blend ingredients and cooking techniques from different cultures–exist all around the world. Join Maya and former EMI-ETF Maggie to explore fusion foods and the ways they reflect people’s diverse histories and identities. We’ll also unpack what makes food “authentic” or “inauthentic,” and explore why fusion food can sometimes be divisive.
