A Vietnamese-born experienced news editor and journalist, Giang Nguyen was a longtime BBC's News Editor in London, covering Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia. He gained a MA in communications at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and was a Reuters Journalist Fellow, Oxford University. Currently he is working on a research paper about Vietnamese perception of Taiwan and is a regular contributor to Western media (the Guardian, the NPR, BBC News, RFI) as well as East Asian newspapers such as Singaporeann Zaobao and Hong Kong's South China Morning Post.
