To support the teaching and research endeavors of NTU faculty members, the Taiwan Mask Corporation Charity Foundation pledged an endowment in 2023 for NTU to establish “Chair Professorships of Humanities” and thereby improve its academic standings and talent cultivation.
The recipients shall be a full-time NTU professor who has outstanding academic achievements in Chinese Literature, History, Philosophy, or other fields of liberal arts, or in-coming faculty members who have cleared recruitment procedures and meet the same criteria.
Three recipients are selected each year to serve a period of one year.
